Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Huay Xai – Anouvong Cruise – Huay Ting
After arrival in Laos, pick up from Huay Xai border to the pier to board Anouvong Cruise for 3 night cruise along upper Mekong River. En route stop to learn about tapesty of ethnic groups and participate in a Baci ceremony at a Tai Lu village.
Overnight onboard Anouvong Cruise.

Day 2: Anouvong Cruise – Khok Ek
Encounter the elephants at a sanctuary in Pekbeng, take a bamboo weaving workshop and visit a village where 3 ethnic groups of Hmong, Lao Loum, and Khamo are living together.
Evening enjoy a Kene traditional instrument performance, followed by dinner and cinema time for the movie “Chang” (1927).
Overnight onboard Anouvong Cruise.

Day 3: Anouvong Cruise – Khok Phou
Visit a village inhabited by Khum ethic people and a village of Lao ethic people.
Enjoy cocktail and dinner on the sandbank.

Day 4: Anouvong Cruise – Luang Prabang
Visit the Pak Ou Caves with thousands of Buddha statues and images and opt to kayak in Nam Ou River or visit to a whiskey village. Disembark in the afternoon and transfer to the luxury hilltop tents of Rosewood Luang Prabang.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Luang Prabang - Ancient town
Morning visit iconic temples of the ancient town: National Museum, Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visoun.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 6: Luang Prabang - Waterfalls
Enjoy half day out to the blue water of Khuang Si Waterfalls
Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Free day at leisure.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
