Vietnam tourism poised for a record-breaking year-end
ASIA DMC
Vietnam recently triumphed at World Travel Awards 2025 as both “Asia’s Leading Destination” and “Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination”. The national tourism sector recorded an impressive 17.2 million international arrivals from January to October, marking a strong 21.5% surge year-on-year.
Arrivals from Europe surged by 34.9%, while markets such as Russia, India, and Southeast Asia also saw exceptional growth.
Building on this growth, national and local authorities are implementing a wide range of initiatives to strengthen tourism promotion during the peak season.
Hanoi: Showcasing the capital’s spirit through major cultural events, such as the Thang Long – Hanoi Festival 2025, a 16-day celebration from November 1 to 16, to globally enhance the Vietnamese cultural brand.
Ho Chi Minh City: Innovating local experiences by actively promoting waterway tourism, exploiting the appeal of the river network and the Mekong Delta.
Da Nang: Ensuring superior international connectivity by launching a new direct flight from Singapore, facilitating easier access for Southeast Asian visitors.
Quang Ninh: Stimulating end-of-year travel with focused festivals and year-end tourism stimulus packages, clearly targeting the peak season.
As the country expands into MICE, Golf tourism and Green tourism, Vietnam is positioning itself as a diversified destination ready to meet global travel trends.
Recognizing this as a defining phase for Vietnam’s tourism growth, ASIA DMC teams across the country are developing programs that align with emerging travel trends, from sustainable journeys and nature-based retreats to MICE and golf experiences.
By combining deep local insight with operational excellence, we ensure every itinerary reflects Vietnam’s evolving tourism landscape and creates lasting value for our global partners.
