Thailand approves 60-day visa-free entry for 93 countries, starting from July 15th

Thailand recently implemented a visa-free stay for citizens of 93 countries and territories, allowing them to stay for up to 60 days without a visa.

Thailand has announced an expansion of its visa-free entry scheme, effective July 15th, 2024. The goal is to boost the country’s tourism industry by making it more accessible and convenient for a wider range of international travelers. Removing visa requirements and increasing the length of stay will help to attract more visitors from more diverse markets.

The directives include a new list of countries eligible for visa-free entry into Thailand, increasing from 57 to 93. Visitors from countries in the list below will be able to stay for no more than 60 days:
