Legendary golfer Greg Norman has been officially reappointed as Vietnam’s Tourism Ambassador for the term 2025 to 2030.

Born on February 10, 1955 in Australia, Greg Norman’s full name is Gregory John Norman. Throughout his illustrious career, he earned the nickname “The Great White Shark”. With two major championship titles and more than 90 international tournament victories, Norman is recognized not only as one of the greatest golfers in history but also as a visionary leader in the sport. His bold mindset and entrepreneurial spirit have helped shape the future of professional golf, from course design to global business ventures.
As one of the most influential figures in global golf, Greg Norman played an important role during his first term from 2018 to 2021. His efforts helped position Vietnam as a rising star in the world of golf tourism and named the World’s Best Golf Destination in both 2019 and 2021. During the same period, the domestic golf market also expanded rapidly, attracting global attention and investment.
Greg Norman is also a renowned golf course designer. In Vietnam, he has left a mark through a series of iconic links-style courses that reflect his signature design. Some of his most notable works include The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip in Vung Tau, BRG Da Nang Golf Resort, KN Golf Links in Nha Trang, and Dragon Golf Links in Hai Phong. These courses are now considered must-play destinations for both international visitors and domestic golfers.
