Cat Ba Archipelago introduces new entrance fee

From 1 August, travelers will be required to pay an entrance fee when visiting and staying overnight at Cat Ba Archipelago.

The fee will help fund conservation efforts, improve infrastructure, and enhance visitor experiences. The details are as follows:

  • For visitors planning a day visit to the bays of the Cat Ba archipelago, the entrance fee will be 60,000 VND/child and 120,000 VND/adult.
  • Visitors coming to Cat Ba archipelago and staying 1 night, 2 nights, and 3 nights will be required to pay an accommodation fee of 400,000 – 600,000 – 650,000 VND per adult; and 300,000 – 500,000 – 550,000 VND per child, respectively.

The updated entrance fee will impact the cost of tours that visit destinations within Cat Ba Archipelago, including Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba National Park, as well as other caves and attractions. However, overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay are not affected.

Our Vietnam team is at your disposal for any of your bookings that may require adjustment. If you have any questions or need additional information, contact us at info@asiadmc.com.
