ASIA DMC welcomes the first-ever charter flights from Iran to Vietnam

ASIA DMC is honored to host the first charter flights carrying 400 passengers from Iran to Vietnam. This milestone event marks a significant leap in Vietnam tourism, strengthening travel and culture exchanges between the two nations.

A new chapter for Vietnam-Iran cross boundary collaboration

The charter flights, operated by Meraj Airlines, arrive on March 19th in Ho Chi Minh City and March 28th in Hanoi, bringing Iranian travelers to Vietnam during the Nowruz celebrations – the Iranian New Year.

Hosted by ASIA DMC, along with our sister concern HG Aviation and key Iranian partners, this inaugural series of flights highlights Vietnam’s increasing appeal as a premier travel destination and showcases the country’s ability to host large-scale international groups.

With tailor-made itineraries designed by ASIA DMC, guests will embark on a 10-day immersive journey through Vietnam’s most iconic destinations, including:

  • Ho Chi Minh City: Cu Chi Tunnels, Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum, Saigon Central Post Office.
  • Danang & Hoi An: Ba Na Hills, Hoi An Ancient Town.
  • Hanoi: One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake.

Throughout their stay, guests will experience carefully selected premium accommodations, including New World Saigon, Equatorial Ho Chi Minh, Four Points by Sheraton Danang, and Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi.

Setting a new standard for Vietnam travel

According to Mr. Subhash Chandar, General Manager of ASIA DMC, the successful execution of these charter flights not only enhances Vietnam’s connectivity with new markets but also sets a new benchmark for travel experiences in the country.

The event also marks the first instance of such a large-scale group from Iran to Vietnam, as ASIA DMC continues to expand our expertise in handling large-scale, high-end travel experiences and present Vietnam as a top vibrant destination in Asia.

Vietnam’s growing international appeal

Vietnam’s tourism industry has witnessed impressive growth, with over 17.5 million international arrivals in 2024, marking a 139.5% increase from 2023. January 2025 alone saw nearly 2.1 million international visitors, setting a new record for inbound tourism. Ho Chi Minh City remains a key destination for large-scale tour groups, including the 1,000-guest Indian MICE group from JB Pharma, also successfully managed by ASIA DMC.
